About Ben Zvi Art
Ben Zvi Art is a web site established to promote the art of Ben Zvi and help other artists get the resources they need to succeed in their field. I hope you will find this site useful. If you have any suggestion please contact me, I am always happy to exchange a few words with other viewpoints.
The Gallery contains only recent work. I still have to include my early work from 1970 to today. The photos are of my original art but they are not the final quality as I wanted to see that the site is working first.
About my art:
I started with oil painting when I was 13 years old. I painted surrealistic painting in oil and acrylic. You can view them in the "Painting" menu. Recently in the year 2004, I started to create forms that present an image from a certain viewpoint; some call it "unusual visual art" but if I have to categorize my recent art I would like to call my art "Viewpoint Art" you can view them in WomenView , Illusion and Marlene . The Mix Media are Pristine , Face and my Wood Carving projects which some of them are also "Viewpoint art", The Cowboy , Lori and the Lion , Succumb Survive and War and Peace . I like to experiment with new media as new projects emerge. I like to create and play with the forms and the painting so to escape from the flat surface of the canvas.
